Joel Krieger joined
Wallace, Sanders, Austin, Brown & Enochs in 1997. He received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New
York at Albany in 1983. He received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1990. He is licensed
to practice law in Kansas, Missouri, California and Pennsylvania. He is also a certified public accountant in New York.
Sandra Wiley is the director of marketing
with Boomer Consulting, Inc. in Manhattan, KS. Sandra's focus is in the area of marketing, training and sales.
Prior to joining Boomer Consulting, she was the vice president of sales and marketing at FirstBank in Manhattan, Kansas.
Michael Downey is a partner in the
national Lawyers for the Profession® practice group at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, where his practice focuses on advising
lawyers, accountants, and their firms on legal, ethics, discipline, risk management, and related business and professional
issues. Mr. Downey has represented lawyers and accountants in federal and state civil, criminal, and disciplinary proceedings,
and appeared for applicants for admission and readmission to the Missouri Bar. He has also served as a consulting and testifying
expert on ethics matters, and as a hearing officer in lawyer discipline proceedings.
Randy Wolverton recently retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation
after working approximately 28 years in multiple FBI Divisions, and finally at FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. where he
served as a supervisory special agent in the financial crimes section. Wolverton continues to provide forensic accounting
services, serves on the AICPA Forensic and Litigation Services Committee, and is the chair of the AICPA Fraud Task Force.
Randy Johnston, MCS, MCP is a nationally
recognized educator, consultant, and writer with more than 30 years experience in strategic technology planning, systems and
network integration, accounting software selection, business development and management, disaster recovery and contingency
planning, and process engineering.
Randy
was named one of Accounting Today's Top 100 Most Influential People in 2004 and 2005. Accounting Technology listed him
as one of the top 10 technology professionals in the industry, and he has been the top-rated speaker at the AICPA Technology
Conference several times in the past few years.
Randy is a partner and the executive vice president of Network Management Group, Inc., where he consults on strategic
technology reviews including planning, selection, and implementation. He specializes in infrastructure, accounting software,
HR, CRM, business intelligence, e-commerce, and SPAM filtering with DoubleCheck.
Joe Marchbein’s experience includes tax planning, research and review, and IRS
examinations and procedures. He specializes in handling issues involving tax controversy. His past work experience
includes over twenty years of service in various managerial positions, with the Internal Revenue Service and more than fifteen
additional years in public accounting.
Mr. Marchbein’s knowledge of tax law combined with his communication skills make him highly sought after as a
discussion leader at in-house seminars, speaker for various tax conferences and business meetings and tax expert for purposes
of radio interviews. In addition, Joe is frequently asked to write articles for a variety of publications and has been
quoted in national publications.

to the IRS reorganization, Mr. Marchbein was a member of theMissouri District Practitioner Council and was the MSCPA’s
representative to the Internal Revenue Service Midstates Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Liaison Group.
He is also an instructor in the Master of
Science in Taxation program at Fontbonne University.
Douglas K. Anning advises companies on their general tax and corporate law needs, navigates private and family foundations through
complex IRS requirements and regulations, serves as general advisor and counselor to a number of nonprofit organizations,
and consults with health care organizations regarding myriad regulatory requirements (tax-exemption, bond issues, HIPAA, Anti-kickback,
Stark Self-Referral, EMTALA, FTC/DOJ Antitrust, JCAHO, and nonprofit governance standards). In addition, Mr. Anning
has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions, transactional matters and structuring joint ventures.
Randy Hilger is principal of the St. Louis
office of Ryan & Company, a national state and local tax services firm. He is responsible for providing multistate
tax planning, controversy resolution and compliance support services to a varied client base. Prior to this position,
Randy was vice president of state and local tax services for a regional consulting firm, director of state and local tax services
for an international accounting firm, and worked in several capacities for the Missouri Department of Revenue.
Chris Kuehl is the managing director of Armada Corporate Intelligence in Kansas City. He is
the author of MSCPA’s captivating Business Intelligence Brief, a daily quick-read update and analysis of the
news that may affect you and your business. He works with major clients including Yellow Transportation and Texas Utilities.
He has held many higher learning positions in finance and economics at institutions such as Baker University, Avila College,
Budapest University of Economic Sciences, Tartu University and Min-Chuan College in Taipei. Chris currently serves as
a senior faculty member for the Keller Graduate School of Management.
Scott H.
Malin, JD is a member of the wealth strategies
practice group at Lathrop & Gage LLP in St. Louis where he practices in the areas of estate planning, business succession
planning, probate, taxation and general business law. Scott is a frequent lecturer and speaker on estate planning, business
succession planning and tax issues for various organizations including The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan
St. Louis, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the Chicago Bar Association and The National Business Institute.
He has authored articles for such publications as Estate Planning, the Journal of Taxation, the St. Louis Bar Journal, Probate
& Property, and Practical Tax Strategies. In addition, Scott is an Adjunct Professor at the Washington University
School of Law in the Master's of Taxation Program where he teaches a class in business succession planning.
Melenie Broyles is an etiquette
consultant and the owner of Etiquette Saint Louis. Prior to starting her own business, she worked in corporate human
resources.
Tom Young, CPA is a partner in the audit practice
of KPMG in St. Louis which he recently joined upon completion of a three-year assignment with KPMG's US Capital Markets Group
in London. In that capacity, he performed technical reviews of annual reports and registration statements filed with
the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission by foreign private issuers filing on the basis of International Financial Reporting
Standards (reconciled to US GAAP). He has also been involved in a number of GAAP conversions. Tom is an IFRS resource
partner, and an IFRS Reviewing Partner at KPMG.
Mary Jane Pieroni, CPA, CFE is an audit manager with Huber Ring & Helm in St. Louis.
With more than 10 years of public accounting experience, Mary Jane's areas of expertise include non-profit organizations,
accounting services, audit, and taxation for individuals and corporations. Active in many civic and community organizations,
she is a member of the MSCPA and the AICPA. Mary Jane earned her MBA from Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern
University.
Bill Greiner is
president and chief investment officer of Scout Investment Advisors in Kansas City, MO. He will provide overall strategic
direction for investment management and oversee portfolio leadership and product development. He has spent his entire
career in the investment field, with more than 30 years investment management experience. Greiner produces a bi-weekly economic
